One day, when your garden quinces produce a sufficient crop you should try this, (if you haven't already), I found on a Google search

"...Apicius, in Book II of De re coquinaria, includes a recipe calling for quince cider."

won't be this year as the crop is looking to be a small one...but next year, who knows create short web addresses for posting in threads another way of shortening web addresses find medieval word definitions
